I had a breast reduction 3 years ago, and I was left with scars from the surgery. Immediately after my surgery, I applied vitamin E oil consistently, which helped somewhat, but when the wounds began to heal they turned a bit darker than my skin tone. I bought these about 2 months ago and have been using them as consistently as possible. (I ran out of the stips and they are a bit expensive for a college student). I am very happy with the results so far. My scars have lightened significantly and they seems to be shrinking in size. I plan on buying another box or two so that I can wear the stips more consistently. I am happy with the product and hope that more time will produce greater changes. I'm rating 4 stars just because I ran out of strips and wasn't able to use it for the recommended time. I'll do another review in a couple of months.br /br /I did read in other review that people had issues with the strips staying on. I didn't have this problem. I put them on directly after getting out of the shower and without applying any lotions or creams. I have dry skin, so I think that helped the strips stay on. A person that has oily skin or sweats a lot, may have trouble keeping these on. As others have suggested, tape may help keep them on.

I had a year old scar that I wanted to get rid of on the chest area (flat area). EVERY NIGHT this would fall off so I had to buy some secondary bandage tape to keep it in place. (But fyi, I do move around a lot when I sleep) and it did NOT fall off during the day.br /br /So I what are the results you ask? br /I think I've seen SOME changes in the past 2 months, but to be honest with you I'm not too sure if that the scar is healing itself naturally or if the tape was actually working. Yes, the changes are THAT minor. br /Some people have said that the redness went away quickly, but not for me... it's practically the same color as it was before (which is pink).br /br /I will be trying Cicacare brand next when I run out.br /br /Final advice, spend the 10 or 20 more bucks and try Cicacare first... theirs seem to be more manageable and effective.
